I was born in the Azores Islands, Portugal. During my teen age years I become interested in photography, learned how to develop black and white film, and started to print my own photos. Growing up I had a love for airplanes and decided to pursue a career as a professional pilot. Because of the demands of a family and life as an airline pilot, my involvement with photography slowed quite a bit with only rare and short periods dedicated to any kind of photography. My love for photography never died and now retired I finally have the time to return to the hobby that I always enjoyed. During the last few years I have been actively photo shooting and trying to further develop my photographic skills.
