TITLE: The Suri Girl and the Zebu

Early in the morning, in the Omo Valley where I had been camping for several days, I walked to one of the surrounding Suri villages, lost in the middle of nature, when I saw this young girl, with her traditional body paint, coming out of her house. She then approached a young zebu that was tied up nearby. I jumped at the opportunity to capture this moment of complicity in the heart of enchanting nature. Cattle are a great wealth for this tribe and she seemed proud to show me her animal.

In my opinion, photography is something you feel, it's something you perceive through the photographer's eye, their vision of the world, and I love bringing a certain magic to these stolen moments of life. Photography is a way to stop time, to tell a story, to convey a message, and emotions. Photography is a means of expression for the photographer, but also a priceless moment of sharing.
