TITLE: Hope
On our last morning in Mara North, the sun rose slowly, casting golden light through the mist. Topi moved quietly across the savanna—unhurried, almost dreamlike. They are not the stars of the wild, not the ones we chase. But that morning, they were perfect. Bathed in light, softened by shadow, they reminded me: Even the most ordinary lives hold moments of quiet beauty.
I began with color because who wouldn’t want to preserve golden light?
But curiosity led me to strip it away.
And in the absence of color, I found something unexpected.
Not just contrast, but clarity.
Not just a scene, but a story.
Behind every shadow… there is light.
