TITLE: Jane Doe
“Jane Doe” - A triptych made using the wet plate collodion technique.
We live and die as specific individuals who have an identity and a story of their lives.
Sometimes tragic circumstances mean that the deceased person cannot be identified.
This fact cannot take away his name and condemn him to oblivion. (NN number)
Jane Doe is the “temporary identity” of a deceased woman who may one day regain her own name.

I use analog photographic methods in my work. In particular, the 19th century “wet plate” collodion technique. Allowing to create unique silver images on glass plates. Often “enhanced” with artifacts created by a chemical process unchanged for more than 170 years.
I am fascinated by people. My favorite photographic subjects are portrait and nude. Using the historical photographic method, I create contemporary images full of simplicity. I capture the emotion and beauty of the body dressed in light and shadow.
I work in my own photographic studio “Atelier Fortuna” in Lublin.
I participate in plan airs and photographic competitions
My works were presented at individual and group exhibitions.
I am a surgeon by profession.
