TITLE: Reflected
The society in full pandemic reflected in a journey.
AUTHOR: Giovannangelo Salvemini (Italy)
As Ugo Mulas said: my photography is not beautiful but good. I believe in photography that tells the truth. Emotions. Poetry and silences.
I live photography as an unexpected passer-by on the street.
I try to capture the changes in daily life. I try to tell what people do: entering a supermarket, drinking a beer or walking down the street. In all this, the only thing I do, is isolating people trying to make others perceive the concept of daily isolation in society. The same isolation that is perceived in Hopper's paintings and with the same reportage technique used by Berengo Gardin.
I am Giovannangelo Salvemini, born in 1990. Originally from Puglia but currently based in Milan.
One of my greatest passions is photography, in the past I also dedicated myself to other arts such as: in 2013 I published my first poetry book entitled "Bisbigli nella Notte", later, I wrote a theatrical script "Perfect strangers" staged in my city in 2015. In addition, in 2016, my first photographic exhibition took place in my home town Molfetta.
