Her work explores various social and political landscapes through portraits marked by the contrasting realities of plural countries.

Moolman's work functions promotes and explores new identities that provide counter-narratives to current stereotyped, idealized or essentialist imagery.

Recent exhibitions & collaborations include but are not limited to the Museum of Modern Art (NY), The Tate Modern (LDN) and Foundation Louis Vuitton (Paris)
